If you sign up under G. Williams and need help he might be at the Golf course so good luck.

I had a case going and when the requested final information to provide a solution/ Compensation I was then told by the firm that I had ran out of letters and or help for that matter and from there on they would send you to a discounted attorney that you will never be able to prove that their is a real discount anyways.

Unfair treatment
Been with this company for over 10 years. When they transitioned from prepaid legal to legal shield.
Attorneys are rude, representatives are rude, they don't give you enough time to submit information before closing out reference cases. They don't reasonably accommodate you. Repeatedly violate ADA laws. They refuse to give me information regarding the CEO/VP/president.
I was a victim of identity theft and fraud, instead of assisting me and my spouse, a service we pay for that is included with our membership, they tried to make us resubmit the information we already provided, due to the company (kroll) they are no longer with. Not only is this their error (ID shield, affiliate of legal shield), this puts our personal information at even more of a risk, because where is the information we already provided? They refuse to guarantee our information was not compromised. These individuals falsified information provided to the BBB, until I stated otherwise and showed proof.
I pay for services and have been for over 10 years, only to repeatedly be mistreated, offered no help, have my disability rights violated with no reasonable accommodation whatsoever offered. The corporate office is the same way. I stand by what I said and I can prove all the above allegations. This company has no problem taking payment every month for years, however, has an issue reasonably accommodating me and my family, has an issue providing me with the owner/vp/president/CEO etc, information.
Has the audacity to violate my rights, frustrate and annoy me by staying if I want to talk, I'm welcome to call, after I've explained that I prefer correspondence in writing via email due to several rude, unprofessional, annoying and stressful incidents, such as , being yelled at, contact information being removed against my will, rude representatives on recorded calls, with absolutely nothing being done. This company, it's affiliates, and representatives are disgustingly offensive, rude, obnoxious and awful. Not interested in arguing/bickering via phone, if this company gave any ounce of caring, they would honor my wishes, be appreciative for the continued patriotism as a valued customer, assist correctly with the identity theft/fraud, reasonably accommodate me my family, check the so called monitored /recorded calls, and correspond via email. They choose not to, this is why my review is detailed and the rating is 1 star.
I will only change and or update when and if progress is ever made, which I doubt. Ever since I started with this company I have been experiencing customer service issues, and disability discriminatory ongoing issues.

LegalShield help me out with my traffic ticket that was a blessing but the second lawyer I gave him a one he was not helpful at all with my Amazon lawsuit. It seems like he didnt even care.

This total *** answered the phone and this is what she did?
The phone system knew me and that i needed to update my credit card.
1- this bich asked me 5 questions and then she said i needed an app to pay?
2-i said i never had any problems to update my card
so the bch hangs up and cancels my service!!!

As of November 2023, Legalshield has yet to come through for me.
They NEVER call back.
They always promise to call, and NEVER do.
The local law firm David Miles, AND the corporate office.
They have repeatedly said there was a conflict of interest, and pass me onto another department that sometimes emails me the contact info for another lawyer; which may or may not return my calls or want to charge me ridiculous amounts to represent me.
The Conflicts department does not answer any questions as to why there's a conflict.
I did have a joint account with my ex-wife, and I can understand that being a conflict, but that account was cancelled but yet they still claim there's a conflict of interest.
I had to call them, and ask again why nobody returns my calls, to which all they will say is there was a conflict of interest and it needs to be handled by the Conflicts department.
No answers other than that; they never even gave me an intake number or ANYTHING.
I have repeatedly called their corporate office to file a complaint, and even they don't return my calls as promised.
David Miles law firm is absolutely no help; and neither is Legalshield.
I NEVER got the legal help I desperately needed at the end of 2023 and start of 2024.
I now don't have custody of my children, because I could not find legal help to help me with the paperwork and response to the divorce.
And now again, when I am illegally being kept from even seeing my children,
David Miles and Legalshield don't even have the decency to return my calls or email me or message me through their stupid useless web portal.
I had to go through the EAP program at work with the legal services handled by CLC.
THEY returned my calls.

After 15 years of paying the fee. I called to use the service but was told that I couldn't because I was the SECONDARY member on their records.
The Primary member is my ex-wife. The fee was taken out of my single owner bank account all those years (after the divorce) and now they are telling me the membership isn't mine. I paid for it but it isn't mine. I asked them, in what world is it right that they could take those thousands of dollars from me, refuse the service and not refund the money.
Of course there was no answer for that.
They are perfectly happy to be a bunch of thieves.
Don't be fooled by their robo reply inviting me to call. Calling was how I found out about this in the first place and they insisted there was nothing they could do about it, federal reserve rules blah blah blah.

The attorney assigned to me was never available once she realized I was a Legal Shield client. I called them to cancel, but they refused to do so.
They continued to offer me a callback from a manager, but no one ever called me back. Never again!

I was never given earnest legal advice. I questioned the so-called attorney and found that he had no legal background whatsoever.
I canceled my subscription according to their instructions, yet they continued to bill me for the next ten months. Legal Shield is a scam.

My experience with Legal Shield was they were really good at giving the customer the run-around with what information they needed multiple times, really good at charging the membership fee, and really terrible at actually providing useful service.
The "legal advice" provided was no more than I could find with browser search. There was no actual advice on how to handle my legal situation.
After I finally realized that I was paying for NOTHING, I tried to cancel my membership.
This was on Feb 19, 2024.
I got a written confirmation of cancellation request.
Then came three months of membership charged to my bank account.
I asked the person who signed me up about what was going on and she said that I wasn't even in pre-cancel status.
When I checked my account on the website, it showed that I was cancelled.
So I called in and spent an enraging 45 minutes with a CS rep insisting that I wanted my money back, that I had written confirmation of my cancellation, and that I wanted a written proof that they intended to refund the three months of fees.
It took an amazing amount of shouting and insisting,
But I did get it in writing.
But my stomach is shot, I feel like I'm going to throw up. I can't believe how angry I got.

Not what the use to be, pre-COVID. I use to highly recommend the Georgia provider law firm, but not anymore, and this truly breaks my heart because, if for no other reason, I relocated back to Atlanta because years ago their attorneys were professionals and the back office was ran properly.
The deceased founder, Mr. Harland Stonecipher, is turning over in his grave; got to be, because they have ran his legacy into the ground. A travesty! Your serious legal matters won't be given serious attention unless you fight your own provider law firm to do their own job.
It seems, in my opinion, they no longer even read the factual data you send in, but instead the Georgia provider law firm might be using CHATGPT to write 3 or 4 sentence letters containing various typographical errors, then they send it to the LegalShield member without even looking at it. NO true ADVOCACY for clients.
This is a joke. You end up managing the advocacy process and writing your own letter, when you didn't even go to law school; they SUPPOSEDLY did, but I honestly can't tell anymore; LegalShield's services have gone completely off the rails downhill.
